Marine-grade tower speaker pair

The METRA MPS-65WCSRGB is a 6.5-inch marine tower speaker pair rated at 120 watts. Each unit uses a polypropylene woofer with a 25 mm voice coil, an 11 oz magnet and a 3-inch passive radiator for extended bass. A 20 mm PEI tweeter is bridge-mounted into the grille and the white ABS housing is UV-treated for salt-spray resistance.

Upgrade from basic marine speakers

The dual-wall enclosure and rotational mounting base give stronger rigidity and flexible aiming compared with fixed-mount units. Waterproof RGB lighting on the tweeter rear reflects off the woofer cone for visible accent lighting at night. Twelve feet of over-jacketed OFC copper wire with a waterproof connector breaks out to 18 AWG speaker leads and a Micro DIN plug with 22 AWG RGB wires for controller integration.

Boaters wanting illuminated tower audio

Suits wake-surf, pontoon and center-console owners who need a white, UV-stable pair with integrated RGB and universal 2-inch, 2.25-inch, 2.5-inch and 2.75-inch clamp inserts. Not for buyers who require a single-speaker solution, a non-illuminated model, or a flush-mount design for gunwale installation.
