The Metra NC202 is a smart battery charger and maintainer built for 12 V and 24 V systems. It handles both LiFePO4 and lead-acid chemistries including AGM, GEL, SLA and flooded types. 10 A at 12 V and 5 A at 24 V
Maximum output is 10 A on 12 V batteries and 5 A on 24 V batteries, with a 15 A safety ceiling noted by the manufacturer. The eight-stage programme charges, repairs and then switches automatically to float maintenance for long-term storage. It runs out of headroom on large-capacity banks that demand more current than the rated output.
8-stage process with LCD and 10 ft cables
An upgraded eight-stage algorithm adds temperature compensation and seasonal modes shown on a large sunlight-readable LCD. Voltage, current, internal temperature and charge percentage are displayed continuously. The 10 ft clamp cables give reach around engine bays.
