Complete Wheel & Tire Detailing Kit

The Metra WB001 supplies four purpose-built brushes that cover every surface of a wheel and tire assembly. Two ultra-soft synthetic woolies brushes tackle rims and barrels, a horsehair detailing brush reaches lug-nut cavities and spokes, and a stiff tire brush scrubs embedded road grime from sidewalls. The kit is aimed at enthusiasts and weekend detailers who want professional results without a commercial budget.

Ideal for Hands-On Owners, Not for Automated Bays

This set suits drivers who enjoy the ritual of hand-washing and need tools that reach behind spokes, inside barrels and around calipers. The 360-degree bendable woolies adapt to tight angles, while the silicone grip stays secure when wet. Buyers who rely on drive-through washes or pressure-only cleaning will not use the brushes enough to justify the purchase.

Flexible 45 cm Reach Decides Fit

The 45 centimetre overall length lets the woolies brush deep into wide barrels and behind large-diameter rims without forcing awkward wrist positions. If your wheels sit behind tight brake packages or you prefer a shorter handle for storage in a small caddy, the fixed length may feel unwieldy. Measure your deepest barrel before committing.

Questions about this item

What cleaning products do I need to use with the synthetic woolies brushes?

The thick fibers hold plenty of wheel cleaner or soap solution, so any dedicated wheel cleaner or car wash soap works with the brushes.

Will the metal-free brush heads damage clear-coated or polished rims I already own?

The metal-free design and extra-soft woolies are safe on all wheel types and minimise the risk of scratching existing finishes.

How can I verify the brushes are cleaning the barrels and lug-nut cavities properly after use?

Inspect the wheel barrels and lug-nut areas; the 360-degree bendable woolies and angled detailing brush are shaped to reach those spots, so a visual check confirms coverage.
