Metra 10×22 mm stem casters

These Metra wheels are 2-inch dual rubber casters with a 10 mm diameter by 22 mm length stem mount. The set of five is finished in grey and designed as a direct replacement for compatible office and gaming chairs.

Suits most IKEA chairs with 10 mm stems

Buyers with a 10 mm stem diameter and 22 mm length will find these a straight swap. Anyone whose chair uses a different stem size, a plate mount or a larger wheel diameter should look at something else.

Plug-and-play fitting in minutes

Installation needs no tools; simply pull the old casters out and press the new stems in until they seat. The main issue is ordering the wrong stem dimensions, so measure the old stem before buying.

Questions about this item

Do I need a chair with a 10 mm stem socket to use these casters?

Yes, the stem is 10 mm in diameter and 22 mm long so the chair must accept that size.

Will the 2 inch wheels roll on the same carpet where my old 3 inch casters worked?

The 2 inch dual polyurethane wheels are designed for carpet, hardwood, tile and laminate without marking.

How can I confirm the 360 degree swivel is operating correctly after fitting them?

Push the chair in several directions; each caster should rotate freely and silently through a full circle.
