Electric duster for electronics

The MetroVac ED500 DataVac is a handheld electric duster designed to remove dust and debris from computer components and electronic equipment. It serves as a reusable alternative to disposable canned air for maintenance tasks. The unit operates on 120 V mains power and draws 4.5 A through a 12 ft heavy-duty cord.

500 W motor and 70 CFM airflow

A 500 W, 0.75 peak HP motor drives a single-stage fan that delivers 70 CFM of air flow. This provides sufficient force for clearing dust from heatsinks, fans, keyboards and circuit boards. The motor runs on 120 V only; the manufacturer states the unit is not for use in 220 V or 50 Hz regions.

Steel construction with four nozzles

The all-steel body measures 7.50 x 4.00 x 6.75 in and weighs 3.00 lbs. Included attachments are an Air-Pin Pointer, Air Concentrator Nozzle, Air-Flare Nozzle and a 4-piece detailing tool kit. The bagless design eliminates filter replacement, while the corded supply removes battery management from the workflow.
