Product identity

The Xiaomi Mi 11 is a 6.81 inch unlocked Android 11 smartphone with 8 GB RAM and 256 GB storage. It targets users who want a flagship-grade camera and 5G connectivity in a single SIM-free handset. The global version ships with a 55 W charger in the box.

Upgrade context

Buyers moving from a device limited to 4G bands or a lower-resolution sensor gain 5G bands 1, 3, 28, 41, 77, 78, 79 and a 108 MP main camera. The jump is worth it when faster mobile data and higher photo detail are daily requirements. It does not suit buyers who need expandable storage or a memory card slot.

Installation notes

As a factory-unlocked phone, setup requires only inserting a nano-SIM into the dual-SIM tray and completing the Android 11 onboarding. No bootloader unlock or firmware flashing is needed for carrier use. The sealed glass-and-metal build means battery or screen repairs should be handled by qualified technicians.
