Micca Speck 4K digital signage media player

Compact 4K signage player

The Micca Speck 4K is a new digital signage media player that adds 4K ultra-HD video, music and photo playback to any television or projector. It reads files directly from USB flash drives, USB hard drives up to 8 TB and microSD cards up to 1 TB using FAT, exFAT or NTFS. A wireless air-mouse remote allows non-line-of-sight control so the player can be hidden behind the display. It is built for simple, always-on signage loops in retail, hospitality or gallery settings.

Sustained 4K playback with rotation

The player outputs up to 4096 x 2304 at 30 fps over HDMI at 60 Hz and also provides composite AV for analog screens or separate audio routing. Video loops endlessly with automatic resume from the last stopping point, and the output can be rotated 90, 180 or 270 degrees for portrait or custom mounting. Supported codecs include H.265/HEVC and H.264/AVC up to 200 Mbps, plus a wide range of container formats and subtitle types. The fanless 62-gram chassis runs continuously without active cooling.

No internal storage — external media required

The unit ships with zero megabytes of onboard storage, so every installation must supply a USB drive or microSD card large enough for the content library. Buyers who need built-in flash, network-attached storage or cloud-based content management cannot use this player for those workflows.
