8-port KVM for USB 2.0 and VGA

This KVM switch lets one USB 2.0 keyboard, mouse and VGA monitor control eight computers or servers. It ships with eight 2-in-1 USB VGA cables and a wired desktop selector for convenient switching. The unit fits a half-rack 1U space and operates without an external power supply.

Replaces multiple keyboard, mouse and monitor sets

Instead of equipping each system with its own peripherals, this switch consolidates control to a single console. The upgrade is worthwhile when managing several servers or workstations in a rack or bench environment where space and cable count matter. Hot-plug support means computers can be added or removed without rebooting.

Check cable reach and video resolution

The supplier notes that the distance between the switch and any connected computer must not exceed 16 ft, so measure your rack or desk layout before ordering. Verify that 1920 x 1440 resolution meets the display requirements of every attached system. Ensure each target computer provides USB 2.0 and VGA ports compatible with the included cables.
