Universal programmer supports 15000+ chips with ICSP interface, 40/44/48-pin parallel programming, and built-in overvoltage protection
The TL866II Plus is a compact USB programmer that supports over 15000 serial and parallel devices including 40, 44 and 48 pin flash parts. It draws all power from the USB port so no external supply is required. Four programmers can run on one computer simultaneously for batch work.
This model adds a unique ICSP interface for serial download and high-speed parallel high-voltage programming that the TL866CS lacks. Internal 40-pin overvoltage protection and four-level overcurrent protection on VPP and VCC prevent a short circuit from resetting the PC or the programmer.
Suits developers and repair technicians who program AVR, PIC, MCU, EEPROM and BIOS chips and value automatic pin-contact detection and 74/54 CMOS 4000 series logic testing. Not for users who need support for chips outside the listed 15000+ database or who require a programmer with built-in voltage regulation for non-USB power sources.

It draws all power from a single USB port and its small, high-density case fits on a crowded bench without extra cables or an external supply.
Connect the unique ICSP header, select the target in the software, and start the serial download — skipping the pin-contact check is the step most users miss.
The 9 included adapters and the 40-pin ZIF socket see repeated insertion cycles; plan to swap them when pin contact becomes unreliable.
