Double-ended carbide engraving tool with 30° tip and 12.00 mm cut length
This Micro 100 engraving tool is a double-ended carbide cutter with a 30-degree included angle and 12.00 mm length of cut. It is supplied uncoated and manufactured to metric dimensions for precision engraving work in a workshop or production environment.
As a solid carbide hand-tool accessory it generates no operational heat, produces no audible noise and draws no electrical power during use. Performance depends entirely on the spindle speed feed rate and rigidity of the machine tool holding it.
The tool fits any collet or holder that accepts its metric shank diameter freeing the user from proprietary tooling systems. It requires a rigid CNC or manual milling setup with appropriate run-out control and does not suit handheld rotary tools or low-rigidity routers.

Mount the 12.00 mm carbide shank in a compatible ER collet or shrink-fit holder, then tighten to the machine builder's torque spec; the step most often missed is verifying the 30° included angle aligns with the programmed toolpath before cutting.
The cutting edges will gradually dull; plan to regrind the 30° tip on a diamond wheel or replace the tool once flank wear exceeds your tolerance for burr size on the workpiece.
Heat buildup at the uncoated carbide tip is the first limiting factor; excessive temperature accelerates edge breakdown, so use peck cycles or air blast to manage thermal load.
