Seven-metre OM3 duplex cable

The Micro Connectors FBR-1010-7M is a 7 metre duplex fibre patch lead terminated with LC connectors on both ends. Its aqua jacket identifies OM3 50/125 multimode glass and it is sold new for structured cabling and patch-panel work.

10Gb to 300 metres, 40Gb and 100Gb to 100 metres

The OM3 rating with 2000 MHz/km EMB at 850 nm supports 10Gb Ethernet up to 300 metres and 40Gb or 100Gb links up to 100 metres. Beyond those distances the modal bandwidth headroom is exceeded and a higher-grade fibre or single-mode run would be required.

OFNR riser jacket, small-form LC connectors

A 2.0 mm PVC jacket carries an OFNR riser rating so the cable can be routed vertically between floors. The compact LC ferrules suit high-density patch panels and transceivers, while the duplex clip keeps transmit and receive fibres paired during moves or re-termination.
