LC/LC duplex cable for 10Gb links

This two-pack supplies aqua-coloured OM3 multi-mode fibre with LC connectors on both ends. Each 3 metre cable uses a 50/125 micron core and is rated for 10Gb up to 300 metres, plus 40Gb and 100Gb up to 100 metres. It suits high-density patch panels and short-run backbone links.

Verify connector style and fibre grade

Confirm that your transceivers or patch panels accept LC ferrules and that the existing infrastructure uses 50/125 OM3 multi-mode fibre. The OFNR riser rating allows vertical runs between floors, but plenum spaces require a different jacket. Backward compatibility covers LED-based 50/125 applications.

PVC jacket and compact ferrules

The 2.0mm PVC jacket in aqua identifies the OM3 grade at a glance and resists everyday handling in cabinet routes. Small LC connectors fit dense cassettes without blocking adjacent ports. Duplex clips keep channel pairs aligned during moves, adds and changes.

Questions about this item

Does the 2-pack include everything needed for a duplex link or must patch panels be purchased separately?

The pack contains two complete LC/LC duplex cables; each cable has two connectors so both transmit and receive fibres are ready to install without extra patch panels.

When should I select the 3-metre OM3 duplex pair instead of a single cable or a different length?

Choose the 3-metre pair when you need two identical links of that exact length — for example, cross-connecting two switches in the same rack — and want aqua jackets for quick visual identification.

What does the 10 Gb figure mean for a 3-metre run inside a real server rack?

At 3 metres the cable easily meets the OM3 10 Gb specification, which guarantees operation up to 300 metres, so the short run adds ample margin for connector loss and bends.
