Questions about this item

How does the dynamic hinge attach to the Surface Pro 12-inch and what is the step people often miss?

The hinge flexes 360 degrees and clips magnetically to the tablet's bottom edge; the step people miss is aligning the connector pins before folding the hinge flat.

Which part of the Surface Pro 12-inch Keyboard will need replacement first under daily use?

The backlit key switches and trackpad surface are the wear items; the fabric-covered hinge and magnetic connectors are rated for the product's lifespan.

What is the first limit you hit when typing continuously on the Ocean keyboard?

Sustained typing generates modest heat under the key deck, so the backlight dims automatically after extended sessions to protect the battery.
