12-inch Copilot+ PC

The Microsoft EP2-36697 is a detachable Windows 11 Home laptop built around the Qualcomm Snapdragon X Plus 8-core processor. It targets mobile professionals who want on-device AI acceleration and a 12.0-inch PixelSense touchscreen in a lightweight form factor. The bundled Surface Pro Keyboard with Slim Pen completes the 2-in-1 experience out of the box.

16 GB RAM and 512 GB UFS

Sixteen gigabytes of unified memory and a 512 GB Universal Flash Storage drive handle typical productivity workloads, web browsing and light creative tasks without swapping. The single memory module leaves no empty slot for expansion, and the storage capacity caps local media libraries or large project caches. Heavy video editing or virtualisation will exhaust headroom quickly.

Two USB-C 3.2 ports and Wi-Fi 7

Connectivity relies on two USB-C 3.2 ports for data, display output and charging, while Bluetooth 5.4 handles peripherals. The absence of USB-A, HDMI, Thunderbolt or Ethernet means legacy accessories and wired networks require adapters. Wireless throughput peaks at Wi-Fi 7 speeds, but real-world rates depend on router support and spectrum congestion.

Questions about this item

Will my existing USB-A peripherals work with the 2 USB-C 3.2 ports on this EP2-36697?

The 2 USB-C 3.2 ports require a USB-C to USB-A adapter or hub for legacy peripherals; no USB-A port is built in.

How can I verify the Qualcomm Hexagon NPU is delivering the 45 TOPs AI performance after setup?

Open Task Manager, select the Performance tab, and confirm an NPU graph appears with activity during Copilot+ features like Live Captions or Recall.

Does the box include a charger and the detachable keyboard with Slim Pen, or must I buy them separately?

The bundle ships with the Surface Pro Keyboard with Slim Pen and a power adapter; no separate purchase is required for those items.
