Microsoft GMGF0MF3T-0002-NP SQL Server 2022 1 User CAL software application license

SQL Server 2022 User CAL

This license grants one individual the right to access Microsoft SQL Server 2022. It is a perpetual Client Access License delivered through the Cloud Solution Provider channel and requires a valid Tenant ID for activation. Nonprofit organisations can purchase this SKU at the designated pricing tier.

Nonprofit buyers needing per-user access

Suitable for nonprofit teams where each named user connects to the database from multiple devices. Organisations that prefer to license by device rather than by user, or that do not operate under a Microsoft nonprofit tenant, should evaluate the alternative licensing model before purchasing.

Perpetual licence with Tenant ID requirement

The decisive factor is that the licence is perpetual and bound to a specific Microsoft tenant; the Tenant ID must be supplied to the provider before the entitlement can be provisioned. Without a valid Tenant ID the licence cannot be activated.
