Business laptop with NPU

The Microsoft Surface Laptop 7 Commercial is a 13.8-inch touchscreen notebook built for professionals who need on-device AI acceleration. An Intel Core Ultra 7 268V processor with an integrated NPU rated at 48 TOPS powers Windows 11 Pro Copilot+ features. 32 GB of LPDDR5x memory and a 512 GB PCIe 4.0 SSD support heavy multitasking and large local datasets. Intel Arc graphics handle visual workloads without a discrete card.

Check ports and display scale

Verify that your docking station or monitors use Thunderbolt or USB-C with DisplayPort Alt Mode for video output. The 2304 x 1536 PixelSense Flow panel operates at up to 120 Hz and uses 10-point multitouch, so confirm your workflow scales cleanly at that resolution and aspect ratio. Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4 require compatible access points and peripherals to reach their rated performance. Windows 11 Pro manages the commercial feature set.

Sustained load with integrated graphics

Under continuous workloads the 8-core processor shares its thermal envelope with the Arc GPU and the NPU, so clock speeds will settle below peak single-core figures. The 48 TOPS NPU offloads background AI tasks such as Recall and Live Captions, reducing pressure on the main cores during long sessions. LPDDR5x bandwidth feeds both compute and graphics engines from a single memory pool. Fan noise and surface temperature rise gradually as the chassis dissipates the combined load.
