Surface Laptop 8 15" Copilot+ PC

The Microsoft Surface Laptop 8 EP2-51129 is a 15-inch touchscreen notebook built for Windows 11 Pro. It runs on an Intel Core Ultra 7 368H processor with a 5 GHz turbo frequency. The system includes 16GB DDR5 memory and a 512GB SSD. Intel Arc B390 graphics drive the 3270 x 2180 PixelSense display at 120 Hz.

Suits AI-focused users.

This device suits professionals who want on-device AI acceleration through the Copilot+ platform and a high-refresh touchscreen. Wi-Fi 7 and a 5-megapixel webcam support modern collaboration. Buyers who need user-replaceable memory modules or a second storage drive should look elsewhere, as the 16GB DDR5 and 512GB SSD are soldered configurations.

Deciding spec: 16GB DDR5 soldered memory

The single specification that decides fit is the fixed 16GB DDR5 capacity. It cannot be increased after purchase, so workloads that regularly exceed this limit will require a different system. The 512GB SSD and Intel Arc B390 GPU are also non-upgradable, but memory headroom is the most common constraint for AI and multitasking scenarios.
