Snapdragon X2 Plus 13.8" Copilot+ PC

The Microsoft Surface Laptop 8 EP2-59162 is a 13.8 inch Copilot+ PC built around the Qualcomm Snapdragon X2 Plus processor. It ships with 32 GB of memory and a 256 GB solid-state drive. Windows 11 Pro comes pre-installed and the 2304 x 1536 PixelSense touchscreen supports pen and touch input. Weighing 4.3 lbs, it is designed for mobile professionals who need on-device AI performance.

Professionals needing local AI and long battery life

This laptop suits knowledge workers who rely on Copilot+ features that run locally on the Snapdragon neural engine. The 32 GB memory ceiling handles heavy multitasking and large datasets without paging. Buyers who require discrete graphics for 3D rendering, video editing or gaming workloads should consider a different class of device. The fixed 256 GB capacity also limits users who store large media libraries locally.

256 GB soldered storage capacity

The single specification that decides fit is the 256 GB solid-state drive which cannot be upgraded after purchase. All applications, operating system files and user data must reside within this space. Buyers who anticipate needing more room for projects, virtual machines or offline media must evaluate external or cloud storage before committing to this model.
