Questions about this item

How much heat does the Core Ultra X7 generate during all-day use?

The Core Ultra X7 processor runs within its thermal design envelope, and the 13.8" chassis uses passive heat-spreading to keep surface temperatures comfortable for lap use.

What must I already own to start working with the 16 GB / 512 GB configuration?

Only a Microsoft account and a Wi-Fi network are required; Windows 11 Pro activates on first boot and the soldered 16 GB memory and 512 GB SSD need no extra parts.

Will my USB-A hub and HDMI monitor still connect to this Surface Laptop?

The EP2-50142 provides USB-C and Surface Connect ports, so a USB-A hub or HDMI display works through a compatible adapter or dock.
