13.8-inch Snapdragon Laptop

The Microsoft Surface Laptop EP2-59488 is a 13.8-inch Windows 11 Home notebook built around a Qualcomm Snapdragon X2 Elite processor. It integrates 16 GB of LPDDR5x memory and a 512 GB SSD for responsive everyday computing. The PixelSense Flow touchscreen supports a 120 Hz refresh rate at 2304 x 1536 resolution. It suits students, mobile professionals and anyone who values long battery life in a lightweight aluminium chassis.

Connectivity limits

Wireless connectivity relies on Wi-Fi 7 (802.11be) and Bluetooth 5.4 for high-throughput, low-latency links to routers and peripherals. Wired expansion is restricted to one USB-A port and two USB-C ports that also carry USB4 signalling. The single USB-A connection may require a hub for legacy devices such as mice, printers or external hard drives. No Ethernet jack, video output or card reader is present on the chassis.

Soldered memory constraint

The 16 GB of LPDDR5x memory is soldered to the mainboard and cannot be upgraded after purchase. Buyers who anticipate heavier multitasking, virtual machines or large creative projects should verify that this capacity meets their long-term needs before ordering. No SO-DIMM slots or user-accessible memory compartments exist on this model.
