Compact laptop with 12.4-inch touchscreen

The Microsoft Surface Laptop Go 2 8QD-00023 is a thin-and-light notebook built around a 12.4-inch PixelSense display with 10-point multi-touch. It runs on an Intel Core i5-1135G7 quad-core processor with 16 GB of onboard LPDDR4X memory and a 256 GB SSD. Windows 11 Pro 64-bit is pre-installed, and the chassis combines an aluminium top with a composite base containing recycled content.

Students and mobile professionals needing

This configuration suits people who value a 3:2 aspect ratio screen for document work and want fast biometric login via the fingerprint power button and Windows Hello. Buyers who require user-replaceable memory or storage should look elsewhere, as both are soldered with zero expansion slots. The integrated Iris Xe graphics rely on shared system memory, so the laptop is not aimed at heavy 3D rendering or modern gaming workloads.

Soldered 16 GB LPDDR4X and 256 GB SSD

The memory and storage are fixed on the motherboard with no accessible slots, meaning the 16 GB LPDDR4X capacity and 256 GB SSD capacity cannot be upgraded after purchase. This single hardware constraint determines whether the laptop will remain viable for a buyer's future workload or if a model with expandable memory is required.
