Microsoft Surface Pro 5 1796 2-in-1

The Microsoft Surface Pro 5 1796 is a 12.3 inch 2-in-1 device with a PixelSense touchscreen running Windows 10 Pro. It uses a 7th Gen Intel Core i5-7300U processor with 8GB DDR4 1866 memory and a 128GB SSD. The 3:2 aspect ratio display supports 10 point multi-touch input for direct interaction.

Ready to use with detachable accessories

The unit arrives fully assembled as a tablet; the Surface Type Cover and Surface Pen are sold separately and attach magnetically to the cover port. A 36W power supply connects via the proprietary Surface Connect port. One full-size USB 3.0 port, a microSDXC card reader, Mini DisplayPort and 3.5mm headphone jack provide peripheral connectivity without adapters.

128GB SSD suits core workloads only

The 128GB solid state drive holds the operating system, essential applications and active project files comfortably. Large media libraries, virtual machines or extensive offline caches will exceed the available space quickly. The microSDXC slot offers expansion for archival storage but does not extend the primary system volume.
