13-inch Windows 11 Pro tablet

The Microsoft Surface Pro 8 is a 13.0 inch tablet that runs Windows 11 Pro on an Intel Core i5-1135G7 quad-core processor clocked at 2.4 GHz. It includes 128 GB of built-in storage and a 2880 x 1920 IPS touchscreen. The chassis measures 0.3 by 8.2 by 11.3 inches and weighs approximately one kilogram.

Best for portable Windows workflows

This device suits professionals who need a lightweight Windows 11 Pro machine with pen and touch input for note-taking or sketching on the move. The 16-hour battery rating supports a full workday away from power. Buyers who require multiple legacy USB-A ports, an HDMI output or more than 128 GB of internal storage should consider other form factors.

128 GB fixed internal storage

The single specification that determines fit is the 128 GB soldered storage capacity. There is no user-accessible expansion slot, so the entire operating system, applications and files must reside within this space. If your workload demands a larger local library or external drive docking without adapters, this unit will not meet the requirement.

Questions about this item

Does the box include the Type Cover keyboard or Surface Pen, or must they be purchased separately?

The supplier description lists only the tablet itself; the Type Cover and Surface Pen are sold separately.

Should I choose the 128 GB model or look for a larger storage version?

This model provides 128 GB of built-in storage; if you need more space for files and apps, a higher-capacity version would be required.

What does the 16-hour battery-life claim mean for everyday use with the 13-inch 2880 x 1920 display?

The 16-hour figure is a manufacturer highlight; actual runtime will vary with screen brightness, workload and WiFi 2 activity.
