Portable 500 Series Chassis

The Midas LEGEND L6 is a 500 series portable chassis built to hold six single-width modules. It is designed for audio engineers and producers who need a flexible, professional-grade signal chain in the studio or on tour.

Advanced Routing and Linking

Audio output link switches allow cable-free daisy-chain connections between modules. Compressor bus link switches enable stereo and multi-channel dynamics sidechain linking. An earth lift switch eliminates ground loop problems and the auto-ranging universal power supply works worldwide.

Studio and Touring Ready

The included 3U 19-inch rackmount kit allows installation in standard recording and live touring racks. It suits users building a custom channel strip with modules such as the 502, 512 or 522. Builders needing more than six module slots or a different form factor should consider other options.

Questions about this item

How often will the 48 V phantom power supply need servicing?

The high-power auto-ranging universal switch-mode supply is built for continuous worldwide use with no user-serviceable parts inside the chassis.

What limits how many modules I can chain together all day?

The chassis accepts up to six single-width modules and the audio output link switches let you daisy-chain them without extra cables.

How much heat and fan noise will the 500 series rack produce in a studio?

The rugged free-standing chassis with carrying handle runs silently with no fan, so only the modules themselves generate any heat or noise.
