Product Identity

Middle Atlantic EVT1 is a 1U vent panel built from 16-gauge steel with a black powder coat finish. It occupies 1.75 inches of rack height and uses a flanged design for mounting in standard server cabinets. The slotted pattern promotes passive airflow through empty rack spaces.

Fit and Limits

This panel suits installers who need a low-cost way to cover unused 1U openings while allowing air movement. It does not suit builds that require filtered intake, tool-less installation, or a solid blanking plate to isolate hot and cold aisles.

Deciding Spec

The 16-gauge steel thickness determines rigidity and durability in high-vibration environments. Thinner panels may flex during handling; heavier gauges add weight without improving airflow for this slotted pattern.

Questions about this item

Does the EVT1 1U Vent Panel ship with mounting screws or do I need to buy them separately?

The panel is supplied as the vent panel only; mounting hardware is not included and must be sourced separately.

Should I choose the 16-gauge steel version or a different gauge for my rack?

This model is built from 16-gauge steel with a black powder-coat finish; no other gauge option is offered for the EVT1.

What does the 1.75" panel height mean when the EVT1 is installed in a standard rack?

The 1.75" height occupies exactly one 1U space, providing slotted ventilation across that single rack unit.
