Panel purpose

This Middle Atlantic FEB1 is a 1U blanking panel designed to fill unused rack space in server cabinets. It helps maintain proper airflow management and presents a clean, professional appearance in data centre and network installations.

Who it suits

The panel suits technicians who need to cover a single rack unit with a durable steel component finished in black powder coat. It is not for buyers who require a vented or perforated panel to allow air passage through the opening.

Critical spec

The panel height is 1.8 inches, matching the standard 1U form factor. This dimension determines whether the panel will correctly occupy the intended rack unit in your enclosure.

Questions about this item

Does the 1.8-inch panel use a flanged or flat mounting style?

The supplier notes the panel is available in your choice of flanged or flat style, so confirm which variant ships with your order.

What tools or steps are required to install the blanking panel?

Mount the steel panel into the rack rails using the appropriate cage nuts or screws for your cabinet; the step often missed is tightening all four corners evenly to avoid bowing.

Will the black powder coat finish need refinishing or replacement over time?

The rugged black powder coat is designed for the product's lifetime and carries a lifetime limited warranty, so no scheduled refinishing is required.
