15A Rack PDU for AV Installations

The Middle Atlantic PDX-915R is a NEXSYS rack-mounted power distribution unit rated at 15 amps. It provides nine NEMA 5-15R outlets in a 1U form factor. The unit is designed for behind-the-display applications such as digital signage and other AV equipment setups. It operates on 120 V AC input and output voltage.

NEMA 5-15P Input Limits

The PDU connects via a standard NEMA 5-15P plug on a 9-foot cord, limiting total draw to 15 amps at 120 volts. All nine receptacles share this single branch circuit, so combined equipment loads must stay within the 15A rating. The unit fits a standard 19-inch rack width and mounts in 1U of vertical space. Multi-stage surge protection and voltage monitoring are built into the same chassis.

Nine Outlets with Surge Headroom

Nine NEMA 5-15R outlets handle typical AV gear such as media players, extenders, and small displays. The multi-stage surge protection absorbs transient spikes while visual indicators on the front and side show protection status.
