Product Identity

Midwest Fastener Corp 36756 is a plain-finish E-clip made from 18-8 stainless steel. It functions as a retaining ring that seats into a groove and relies on spring deformation to stay in place. The clip is sold new and ships direct from the manufacturer.

Who It Suits

This hardware suits mechanics and maintenance staff who need a corrosion-resistant clip for groove-mounted retention on shafts or housings. It is not intended for applications that demand a different clip profile, a larger or smaller diameter, or a non-stainless material.

Deciding Specification

The 18-8 stainless steel construction gives the clip its corrosion resistance and spring properties for interference-fit installation. Buyers should verify that the groove dimensions match this clip before ordering.
