What this pack contains

One hundred tee nuts with three prongs each, sized #8-32 thread and made from zinc-plated steel. They are designed for driving into soft wood to give a screw or bolt a stronger mounting surface. The pack suits furniture assembly, shop jigs and similar woodworking tasks.

Where the design works and stops

The prongs grip best in soft wood; hard or dense timber may resist insertion or split around the nut. The zinc coating provides basic corrosion resistance for indoor use but is not rated for prolonged outdoor exposure. No installation tool is included in the pack.

The specification that decides fit

Thread size is #8-32, so the matching screw or bolt must share that exact pitch and diameter. If your project calls for a different thread, these nuts will not engage correctly.

Questions about this item

Should I choose the 100-pack or a smaller quantity?

The 100-pack provides enough tee nuts for multiple woodworking projects or production runs, reducing the need for frequent reorders.

What does the #8-32 thread size mean when I install these in wood?

The #8-32 threads accept standard #8 machine screws, giving a secure metal thread in soft wood that resists stripping better than wood screws alone.

How does the 3-prong design affect installation and holding power?

Three prongs drive into the wood grain to prevent the nut from spinning when tightening a bolt, creating a firm anchor in soft wood.
