Product Identity

This is a MIDWEST FASTENER 51042 zinc plated steel coarse thread fastener measuring 1/4 inch by 7/16 inch by 2-5/16 inches. It is a new hardware component supplied directly by the manufacturer.

Upgrade Context

It replaces worn, corroded or mismatched coarse thread fasteners in structural or mechanical assemblies. The jump is worth it when existing hardware shows thread damage or when zinc plating is needed for corrosion resistance in outdoor or damp environments.

Build Integration

The fastener fits into pre-drilled holes matching its 1/4 inch diameter and 2-5/16 inch length. It frees up the need for separate washers or locking nuts in many coarse thread applications.
