Brass Double Bolt Snap Hooks 10 Pack

These brass double bolt snap hooks come in a ten-piece pack for general hardware use. They suit DIYers, tradespeople and hobbyists who need a corrosion-resistant fastening option for light-duty tasks.

Replacing Worn or Missing Hardware

Swap out corroded, deformed or lost snaps on tarps, straps, pet leads or marine lines. The jump is worth it when the original hardware no longer closes securely or shows heavy surface oxidation.

Build Integration and Clearance

Each hook measures four and three-quarter inches overall and is made of solid brass. They attach directly to rings, eyes or loops without extra tools and free up stainless alternatives for heavier loads. California Proposition 65 warnings apply for cancer and reproductive harm.

Questions about this item

What diameter rope or chain fits the 4-3/4" brass double bolt snap hooks?

The 4-3/4" brass double bolt snap hooks accept standard rope or chain sizes common to this hook style; match the eye diameter to your line for a secure fit.

How do I install the double bolt snap hooks, and what step is often missed?

Thread the rope or chain through each hook eye, then tighten both bolt nuts evenly; the step often missed is securing both bolts so the eyes cannot rotate under load.

Will the brass finish on these 10 hooks need replacement or maintenance later?

Brass naturally develops a patina over time; no scheduled replacement is required, but periodic cleaning with a brass polish restores the original shine if desired.
