10-Pack Square Wire Lock Pins

This pack contains ten zinc-plated steel lock pins sized at 5/16 inch by 2-3/4 inch. They are designed for securing components in automotive, agricultural and general hardware applications. The square wire construction provides a positive lock that resists vibration and accidental release. Each pin is ready for immediate use in compatible holes or brackets.

Capacity and headroom

Ten pins give enough pieces for multiple assemblies or for keeping spares in a maintenance kit. The 5/16 inch diameter fits standard hole sizes found on many implements and linkage points. The 2-3/4 inch usable length accommodates thicker brackets or multiple layers of material. Zinc plating adds corrosion resistance for outdoor or shop environments.

Build fit and freedom

No tools are required for installation or removal, freeing up time during field repairs or equipment changeovers. The pins work with existing clevis pins, hitch pins or drilled shafts that match the diameter. Their self-locking action eliminates the need for separate cotter pins or hairpin clips. Buyers needing a different diameter or length will need a separate part number.

Questions about this item

Will the 5/16 inch diameter pins fit the existing holes on my older equipment?

Each pin has a 5/16 inch diameter and 2-3/4 inch length; measure your current holes to confirm the same dimensions before installation.

How can I verify the zinc-plated steel pins are secure after inserting them?

Push the square wire loop until it snaps over the pin end; the loop should sit flat against the shaft with no visible gap, confirming positive lock engagement.

Does the 10-pack include any retaining clips or cotter keys, or must I buy them separately?

The package contains ten complete square wire lock pins; each pin integrates its own wire loop so no additional clips or keys are required.
