What this product is

This is a pack of seven rubber well nuts with 1/4"-20 threads. Each nut combines a flanged neoprene bushing with an embedded nut so a bolt can be inserted from the flange side to create a sealed, blind fastening point. They are new and intended for general hardware and automotive use.

The specification that decides fit

The thread size is 1/4"-20 and the overall length is 1 inch. Only holes and bolts matching that thread pitch and grip range will engage the embedded nut correctly, so verify the hole diameter and material thickness before ordering.

Who should buy and who should not

Suitable for installers who need a vibration-damping fastener that also seals the hole against moisture or dust. Not for buyers who require a metal insert for high-shear loads, a different thread pitch, or a longer grip length than the supplied 1-inch body.

Questions about this item

How does the 1/4"-20 thread size work once the rivet nut is installed in a panel?

The 1/4"-20 thread accepts a matching bolt so you can fasten components from one side without access to the back of the panel.

What does the rubber body do for the bolt hole when the fastener is tightened?

The neoprene bushing expands to seal the hole and dampen vibration while the embedded nut draws up tight.

What hole diameter and panel thickness does the 1 inch length require for proper fit?

Drill the hole size recommended for a 1/4"-20 well nut and ensure the panel thickness falls within the 1 inch grip range so the flange seats flush.
