What these clips are and who uses them

MIDWEST FASTENER 66206 mirror clips are zinc-plated steel brackets designed to secure mirrors to a wall. They suit DIYers, installers or maintenance teams mounting glass panels in bathrooms, hallways or commercial spaces. Buyers needing adhesive-only fixing or frameless channel systems will not find that method here.

Capacity and headroom: what they handle

Each clip measures 1-1/2" by 1/2" and uses 16 gauge steel to grip the mirror edge. The set holds standard thickness glass under normal indoor loads. Heavier plate glass, oversized panels or high-vibration locations may exceed the holding power of this hardware.

Build quality, connectors and daily implications

Zinc plating resists moisture in humid rooms while the steel body resists bending during tightening. Pre-drilled holes accept common wood or drywall screws for straightforward mounting. The low-profile shape keeps the mirror close to the wall with minimal visible hardware once installed.
