Lightweight Gold Frame for 8×10 Prints

This plastic frame measures 10 inches on its longest side and weighs 60 percent less than traditional metal alternatives. The shatter-resistant polymer keeps its golden finish while reducing strain on walls or shelves. One horizontal and one vertical hook on the back allow quick switching between portrait and landscape orientation.

Suits renters and gallery-wall builders

The light weight makes it ideal for damage-free hanging strips or thin nails in rented rooms. Collectors who need archival-grade glazing or a deep rebate for canvas stretchers should look elsewhere, as the supplied acrylic front and shallow profile do not meet those requirements.

Single-piece 8×10 window with acrylic front

The frame accepts an 8×10 inch image directly without a mat, so the visible aperture matches the print size exactly. The clear acrylic panel protects the artwork while keeping the overall package light enough for adhesive mounting.

Questions about this item

Will the plastic frame become brittle and need replacing over time?

The advanced polymer construction is shatter-resistant and maintains its golden luster, reducing the likelihood of brittle failure under normal indoor conditions.

What limits how long the frame can hang on the wall without adjustment?

The lightweight plastic design at 60% lighter than metal frames places minimal stress on the dual hanging hooks, so the wall fixings typically determine longevity.

Does the frame warp or emit odour when exposed to sunlight all day?

The polymer material resists shattering and maintains its finish, but prolonged direct sunlight may affect any plastic over time.
