Neodymium Bar Magnets 60 mm

The MIKEDE 60x10x3 set supplies nine rare-earth bar magnets measuring 60 mm by 10 mm by 3 mm with a tolerance of 0.2 mm. Each piece carries a triple nickel-copper-nickel coating for corrosion resistance and a glossy black finish. A pull force of at least 18 pounds lets them hold heavy objects on ferrous surfaces. Upgrade from basic fridge magnets

Standard ceramic magnets or magnetic tape often lack the holding power for tools, knives or heavier craft components. Limits of adhesive-backed neodymium

The adhesive bonds the magnet to wood, plastic or glass, but the magnetic force only acts on ferromagnetic metals. The brittle material can chip or shatter if magnets snap together or strike hard objects, and the 0.4 mm by 0.12 mm adhesive layer adds minimal shear strength compared to mechanical fasteners.
