White circular ceiling-mount access point with two Ethernet ports

Mikrotik

Mikrotik cAP XL ac Dual Band Dual Chain 2xG Ethernet ports International version access point

SKU CH-G6PT-0M8ZB

Ceiling-mount dual-band access point with high-gain antennas, two Gigabit ports and PoE in/out for extended coverage

  • Larger antenna and reflector extend coverage up to 100%
  • Ceiling-mount 360° dual-band radio reduces signal blockage
  • Two Gigabit Ethernet ports enable wired expansion with PoE flexibility
  • First port accepts 802.3 af/at PoE input 18-57V
  • Second port delivers passive PoE output up to 57V

Ceiling-mount dual-band access point

The Mikrotik cAP XL ac is a ceiling-mounted wireless access point with dual-band, dual-chain radios covering 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz. It runs RouterOS on a quad-core ARM CPU at 716 MHz with 128 MB RAM and 16 MB flash storage. Two Gigabit Ethernet ports provide wired backhaul and passive PoE output on the second port.

Suits ceiling deployments needing PoE pass-through

Installers who want a single-cable installation with the ability to power a downstream device from the second Ethernet port will benefit from 802.3af/at PoE input and passive PoE output up to 57 V. Buyers who need mesh roaming protocols not included in RouterOS or who require outdoor-rated enclosures should look at other hardware.

AC1200 dual-chain radio with 6 dBi 2.4 GHz gain

The combined 300 Mbit/s on 2.4 GHz and 867 Mbit/s on 5 GHz, each with two spatial streams, determines the real-world throughput ceiling for client devices. If the site survey calls for higher aggregate capacity or more spatial streams, this model will not meet the requirement.
