Two white cube-shaped wireless units with metal bases

Mikrotik

Mikrotik Cube 60Pro ac 60 GHz Wireless Wire Kit

SKU CH-C7KC-CBAXG

Preconfigured pair of 60 GHz 802.11ay radios with automatic 5 GHz failover for point-to-point links up to 2.4 km

  • Preconfigured kit of two devices for instant point-to-point links
  • 60 GHz 802.11ay delivers fibre-like speed without cable runs
  • Automatic 5 GHz backup keeps the link alive in heavy rain
  • Metal base improves mounting strength and passive cooling
  • ARM quad-core CPU with 256 MB RAM runs RouterOS v4

Preconfigured 60 GHz point-to-point kit

The kit contains two Cube 60Pro ac units ready for ultra-fast wireless bridging up to 1 km. Each unit runs a quad-core ARM processor with 256 MB RAM and 64 MB flash storage on RouterOS license 4. The devices are built for outdoor mounting with a metal base and passive cooling.

60 GHz capacity with 5 GHz failover

The 60 GHz link delivers fiber-like throughput in clear conditions and maintained a reliable connection over 2.4 km in manufacturer tests. When weather degrades the primary band, an automatic 5 GHz backup using an 11.5 dBi directional antenna activates at up to 433 Mbit/s. Performance drops if heavy rain or obstacles block the 60 GHz path.

Passive thermal design and PoE power

Passive cooling handles the 10 W maximum draw across the tested -40 °C to 70 °C ambient range. Power is supplied through a single 802.3 af/at PoE input accepting 18–48 V. No moving parts mean silent operation, but sustained loads in high heat rely entirely on the metal enclosure for dissipation.

Questions about this item

Will the 10/100/1000 Ethernet port on each Cube 60Pro ac connect to my existing gigabit switch?

Yes, each device has one 10/100/1000 Ethernet port that links directly to a gigabit switch using a standard Cat5e or better cable.

How can I confirm the 60 GHz link and the 5 GHz failover are active after installation?

In RouterOS check the wireless registration table for the 802.11ay interface and verify the 5 GHz backup shows as connected when the primary link drops.

Does the kit include PoE injectors or must I buy 802.3 af/at injectors separately?

The kit contains two Cube 60Pro ac units with mounting hardware; 802.3 af/at PoE injectors are not included and must be purchased separately.
