Circle Cutting Guide for Plasma Torches

The Miller-Smith Equipment 16229 is an adjustable circle cutting guide built for plasma cutting torches that accept SC and MC style cutting tips. It lets operators produce repeatable circular cuts on plate steel, sheet metal and pipe without a dedicated CNC table. Fabrication shops, maintenance crews and field welders who need quick, accurate holes on site will find it a practical addition to a hand-torch kit.

Diameter Range and Tip Compatibility

The guide adjusts to cut holes from a minimum of 5/8 in up to a maximum of 12 in, covering the most common pipe-flange and access-hole sizes encountered in structural and pipe work. It locks onto SC and MC style cutting tips only; torches using other tip geometries will not mount securely. No finer micro-adjustment or digital readout is provided, so final diameter is set by eye on the scale.

Rugged Construction and Daily Use

The body is built from heavy-gauge steel that resists warping under cutting heat and stands up to rough handling in a gang box or service truck. A single locking knob secures the radius arm, so setup takes seconds even with gloved hands.
