SC60-2 Cutting Tip for Propylene
The SC60-2 is a two-piece cutting tip designed for oxy-fuel cutting with propylene fuel gas. It fits handheld and machine torches that accept the SC60 series. The tip handles steel plate from 3/4 in up to 1 1/4 in thick. It is built for metal fabrication, maintenance and repair work.
Replaces worn SC60 series tips
Swap this tip in when an existing SC60-2 shows pitting, erosion or an irregular flame pattern that degrades cut quality. The change is worth it when the current tip no longer holds a clean kerf at the 3/4 in to 1 1/4 in range. It restores factory cutting performance for propylene-based operations.
Verify torch and attachment compatibility
Confirm your cutting torch belongs to the DG or SC series before ordering. The tip also requires a compatible SC205 or SC209 cutting attachment. Ensure your fuel supply is propylene; the tip is not rated for other fuel gases. Check local regulations regarding Proposition 65 warnings.
