Copper collet body pack for TIG torches
This pack contains five copper collet bodies rated for a maximum electrode diameter of .0625 in. They are built for TIG welding (GTAW) and fit a wide range of Miller and Weldcraft torch models including the 9, 20 and 25 series. Each body is new and ready for workshop or field use.
Suits welders running compatible Miller
These bodies suit operators who need direct replacements for the listed WP-9, WP-20, WP-25, HW-9, HW-20 and HW-25 torch families. They do not suit torches outside the listed model and series range or applications that require a larger electrode capacity than .0625 in.
Maximum electrode diameter .0625 in
The .0625 in limit is the single specification that decides fitment. If your torch and electrode combination exceeds this size, these collet bodies will not work and a larger-bore body is required.

Questions about this item
How do I fit the 13N27 collet body into a WP-20 series torch, and what step is often missed?
Unscrew the old body, insert the new copper collet body, then tighten the back-cap so the 1/16 in collet seats fully; the missed step is forgetting to match the collet size to the 0.0625 in electrode.
Which consumables wear out first on a WP-9 or WP-20 torch using these 13N27 bodies?
The 1/16 in collets and tungsten electrodes wear out first; the copper collet body lasts much longer unless physically damaged.
What limits continuous TIG welding with the 13N27 on a 250 A water-cooled torch?
The 1/16 in (0.0625 in) maximum electrode diameter caps the usable current well below the torch’s 250 A rating, so electrode overheating appears first.
