Torch body for 125 A TIG work
The Miller Weldcraft WP-9 A-125 is an air-cooled TIG torch body rated for 125 amperes. It is built for fabrication, maintenance, metal art and motorsport repair. The rigid neck and 60 percent duty cycle suit steady, medium-amperage welding. It accepts electrode diameters from 0.02 inch to 1/8 inch.
125 A capacity with 60 % duty cycle
At 125 amperes the torch runs continuously for six minutes in every ten-minute period before it needs cooling time. The air-cooled design handles thin-gauge sheet metal and light structural work without water circuits. Pushing beyond the rated current or the 60 percent cycle will overheat the head and shorten consumable life.
Rigid-neck body for standard TIG setups
The body fits common WP-9 series consumables and connects to a standard gas hose and power cable; no gas valve is integrated, so flow is controlled at the regulator or machine. The rigid neck keeps the electrode angle fixed, which helps repeatable welds in accessible joints. Tight corners or obstructed joints may require a flexible-neck alternative.

Questions about this item
Will this WP-9 A-125 torch body connect to the power cable and gas hose from my existing TIG setup?
The WP-9 A-125 is an air-cooled torch body rated at 125 A with a 60 percent duty cycle; it accepts standard TIG consumables for electrodes from 0.02 in to 1/8 in and connects to a compatible power cable and gas supply for GTAW welding.
How can I verify the torch body is operating correctly after installation?
Confirm the rigid neck is secure, the torch body stays cool enough for the 60 percent duty cycle at up to 125 A, and shielding gas flows steadily through the head during GTAW operation.
Does the box include a gas valve, cable, hose or consumables, or must I buy them separately?
The torch body is supplied without a gas valve; power cable, gas hose, collets, collet bodies, nozzles and electrodes are sold separately and must match the 0.02 in to 1/8 in electrode range and 125 A rating.
