Bronze inline check valve
The Milwaukee Valve UP509 is a 1/2 inch bronze spring check valve built for potable-water lines. Its low-lead bronze body and brass seat meet lead-free requirements for drinking-water installations.
FNPT connections for copper or steel piping
Female NPT threads on both ends let the valve thread directly onto 1/2 inch copper adapters or steel nipples without extra fittings. The inline swing design keeps the flow path straight, so the valve adds minimal restriction to the supply run.
Rated for 10 gpm at 300 psi and 150 °F
The valve opens between .750 and 1.000 psi cracking pressure and seals reliably up to 200 °F. It is not rated for steam service, so sustained steam pressure should be avoided.
