Delivers 1.5 Gbps point-to-point wireless backhaul on 24 GHz with 2.4 GHz management radio and dual Ethernet or SFP+ links
The Mimosa B24 is a 24 GHz wireless access point designed for fixed PtP links that need up to 1.5 Gbps of directional throughput. It targets broadband providers and enterprise networks building suburban or urban backhaul where fibre deployment is impractical or too costly.
Auto-TDMA technology dynamically shifts Gigabit-class capacity between upstream and downstream directions to match real-time traffic patterns. This avoids the spectrum waste of symmetric FDD operation and keeps latency low even when the link runs continuously at high utilisation across four MIMO streams with 256 QAM encoding.
The B24 upgrades installations that rely on fixed symmetric radios or single-stream PtP gear by adding dual-stream radios on non-contiguous frequencies and dual-link Ethernet fail-over with SFP+ fibre support. The jump is worth it when asymmetric traffic profiles, spectrum efficiency or redundant uplinks are required for the deployment.

The unit uses a low-power Gigabit Ethernet interface rated at 10/100/1000-BASE-T, so its daily consumption stays modest compared with higher-wattage backhaul radios.
You need a standard Cat5e or better Ethernet cable for the 10/100/1000M WAN port, and an SFP+ transceiver if you plan to use the fiber-capable interface.
The B24 operates on 24 GHz for the backhaul link while keeping a separate 2.4 GHz 802.11 b/g/n radio for local management, so the two frequency bands stay isolated.
