Mimosa C5x 4.9–6.4 GHz radio

The Mimosa C5x is a new modular radio that operates across the 4.9–6.4 GHz band. It ships with an integrated 8 dBi antenna and supports both point-to-multipoint and point-to-point deployments. The platform is designed for wireless ISPs and enterprise networks that need flexible 5 GHz connectivity.

Gain options and speed tiers

The radio’s native 8 dBi gain can be increased to 12, 16, 20 or 25 dBi by adding Mimosa N5-X twist-on antennas. Out of the box it delivers up to 100 Mbps in PTMP mode, a PTMP feature key unlocks 500 Mbps, and a PTP feature key enables 700 Mbps for dedicated links.

Build integration and requirements

The unit connects via Ethernet and requires a compatible power source and mounting hardware for outdoor installation. Feature keys are purchased separately to unlock the higher PTMP and PTP throughput tiers. It is not suited for buyers who need licensed-band operation or integrated routing functions.
