Over-Sink Drying Station

The Mind Reader GDR-17 is a five-piece stainless steel rack that rolls over a standard sink to create an instant drying, rinsing and cooling area. It includes a large roll-up mat, three utensil caddies and a drip tray so counters stay dry. The frame resists rust and handles heavy pots and cast iron without bending.

Best for Compact Kitchens

Apartment dwellers, RV owners and anyone with limited counter space will appreciate the fold-away design that stores in a drawer. Buyers who prefer a fixed, high-capacity rack that never moves or who need a dedicated bottle-drying tree should look elsewhere.

Handles Everyday Loads

The 21.6 by 12.7 inch surface accommodates dinner plates, sheet pans and a full sink of produce while the mat supports heat up to 400 °F for hot cookware. Very large roasting pans or multiple stockpots at once will exceed the available area.

Questions about this item

Does the 21.6 x 12.7 roll-up rack require a specific sink ledge depth to sit securely?

The rack rests on the sink rim using its anti-slip silicone edges and adjustable roll-up design, so it fits most standard and oversized sinks without extra hardware.

Can the rust-resistant stainless steel rods and 400 °F heat rating handle a cast-iron skillet straight from the oven?

Yes, the heavy-duty stainless steel construction supports heavy cookware and the heat-resistant rating allows use as a trivet for hot pots up to 400 °F.

How can I verify the 5-piece set — roll-up mat, three utensil holders and drip tray — is fully assembled and draining correctly?

After placing the rack over the sink, insert the three utensil caddies into their slots, set the drip tray beneath, run water over dishes and confirm it flows into the tray without pooling on the counter.
