What it is

Minigrip MGLG105 reclosable UV bags come in a pack of 1000 transparent pouches sized at 5 by 8 inches with a 3 mil thickness. They are designed for shipping, mailing and general storage where a secure, reusable seal is needed.

Check before ordering

Verify that the 5 by 8 inch dimensions suit the items you intend to pack and that a 3 mil wall provides enough puncture resistance for your contents. Confirm your team can handle a bulk quantity of 1000 units and that storage space is available for the carton.

Durability in use

The 3 mil polyethylene construction resists tearing during normal handling and keeps contents protected from dust and moisture. The reclosable zip track operates cleanly without snagging, and the material adds negligible weight to shipments.

Questions about this item

What comes in the package of Minigrip MGLG105 bags and is anything else needed to seal them?

The box contains 1000 transparent reclosable UV bags measuring 5 by 8 inches at 3 mil thickness. No extra sealing equipment is required because each bag has an integrated press-to-close track.

How do I decide whether the 1000-count pack is the right quantity for my shipping volume?

Choose the 1000-count pack when you need a bulk supply for ongoing mailroom or fulfilment work; smaller packs are available separately if you only ship occasionally.

What does the 3 mil thickness mean for everyday mailing use?

At 3 mil the bag resists tears and punctures during transit while staying light enough to keep postage costs low, and the UV material protects contents from sunlight damage.
