Minigrip Red Line 5" x 3" zipper bags

These clear, reclosable poly bags measure 5 inches by 3 inches and are made from 2 mil Low Density Polyethylene. A dispenser pack holds 1000 bags, each featuring a zip seal closure and a white write-on block for labelling. They are FDA compliant for direct food contact and have a flat bottom for stable stacking.

Upgrade from single-use wraps and tie bags

The zip seal replaces twist ties, tape or heat sealing, letting you open and close the bag repeatedly without losing tension. The jump is worth it when you need fast access to small parts, hardware or ingredients many times a day and want to avoid the waste and fumble of disposable closures.

Capacity and headroom for small-item organisation

Each bag provides a 5 by 3 inch usable area that comfortably holds screws, bolts, electronic components, spices or craft supplies. The 2 mil film resists punctures from sharp edges but will stretch or tear if overfilled with heavy or jagged items. The pack of 1000 covers high-volume workflows, though very large or bulky objects exceed the bag's flat dimensions.

Questions about this item

Do the 3 in by 5 in bags need any special dispenser or mounting hardware?

The bags are packed in a dispenser bag with a hang hole that is not included, so you can hang the dispenser on a hook or nail without extra hardware.

How do I seal the zipper correctly so it stays closed?

Press the two interlocking tracks together along the full 5 in seal length, running a finger from one end to the other to remove gaps.

When should I replace a bag that has been reused many times?

Replace it when the zipper tracks no longer interlock cleanly, the 2 mil LDPE film shows tears, or the white write-on block becomes unreadable.
