750VA Rack/Tower UPS

The MINUTEMAN PRO750RT2U is a 750VA uninterruptible power supply with automatic voltage regulation. It fits a 2U rack space or stands as a tower. The unit protects connected equipment from power disturbances. It is suited for network closets, small servers and workstations needing battery backup.

Input Range and Transfer Time

The UPS accepts an input voltage window of 103 to 136 V AC and delivers 120 V AC output. When utility power falls outside this range, the unit switches to battery in 10 ms. At full load of 525 W, the internal battery provides approximately five minutes of runtime for safe shutdown.

Installation Checks

Verify that your equipment uses NEMA 5-15P plugs to match the eight NEMA 5-15R receptacles. Confirm the rack or shelf can accommodate the 3.4 inch height, 18.9 inch width and 16.1 inch depth. The unit weighs 31.30 lb, so ensure mounting hardware and support are rated for this weight.

Questions about this item

Should I choose the 750 VA or 525 W rating for my load calculation?

Size the load by the 525 W figure because that is the real power the UPS can deliver; the 750 VA rating is the apparent power limit.

What does the 5 minute runtime at full load mean for my equipment?

With a full 525 W load the battery will last about 5 minutes, giving time to save work and shut down safely.

How does the NEMA 5-15P input and 5-15R outlets affect what I can plug in?

The UPS plugs into a standard 120 V 15 A wall outlet and provides eight 5-15R receptacles for 120 V devices up to the 525 W total.
