Genuine Mitsubishi Electric Replacement Remote

This genuine Mitsubishi Electric E12E83426 remote controller replaces the original handset for compatible Mr Slim indoor units. It is intended for owners of MSY-GE09NA, MSY-GE12NA, MSY-GE15NA or MSY-GE18NA series units who need a direct factory replacement. The remote restores full control functions without the limitations found in generic after-market alternatives. Buyers seeking a universal remote for multiple brands will not be served by this model-specific part.

Compact Handheld Build

The white handset measures 6.31 x 2.31 x 0.75 inches and fits comfortably in one hand for everyday adjustment of temperature, fan speed and mode settings. As an infrared controller it requires line-of-sight to the indoor unit receiver, so mounting location and furniture placement affect daily usability. No wiring, pairing or batteries are included in the pack, so users must supply their own power source. Installers who need a wired wall-mounted controller should look elsewhere.

Verify Indoor Unit Model Before Ordering

Confirm the exact model number on your indoor unit matches one of the listed MSY-GE series designations including the -8 variants. The remote will not operate other Mitsubishi Electric series or competing brands, so cross-referencing the unit label is essential. Buyers with multi-zone systems or centralised controllers should check compatibility with their specific configuration. No programming or dip-switch settings are required once the correct unit match is confirmed.

The remote communicates via Mitsubishi Electric's proprietary infrared protocol, which is built into compatible MSY-GE series indoor units; no pairing or Wi-Fi setup is required.

What are the exact dimensions of the E12E83426 remote so I can check if it fits my wall holder?

The remote measures 6.31 x 2.31 x 0.75 inches, matching the original controller supplied with MSY-GE09NA, MSY-GE12NA, MSY-GE15NA and MSY-GE18NA units.

How do I install batteries in the E12E83426 and what is the common mistake to avoid?
